Eligibility criteria for BDS seats in Punjab relaxed

On the directions of the Supreme Court, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has announced lowering the eligibility criteria by 10 percentile to fill 496 vacant BDS seats in the state.

To fill the seats, the BFUHS has invited students for another round of counselling, offering them huge relaxation in eligibility with a cut of 10 percentile in each category. The reduced cut-off percentile for general category is 40 and it is 30 for SC/ST/OBC and 35 for PWD categories. — TNS
