Amritsar, April 30

Punjabi actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu today paid obeisance at the Golden Temple and said the sate needed a regional party which could address the local issues.

He said following the protocol set for Covid prevention, the Centre Government should initiate a dialogue with the farmers to break the deadlock.

“I believe that the Centre failed to analyse the significance of farmers’ agitation. The need of the hour is that the government should resolve the issue instantly amid the raging pandemic,” he said. — TNS
