Chandigarh, December 21

Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Randeep Singh Nabha today directed all Deputy Commissioners to immediately clear the pending cases related to providing government jobs to family members of the deceased farmers, who sacrificed their lives during the farmers’ struggle against the three ‘black’ laws on the Delhi borders.

In a virtual meeting with the DCs, Nabha reiterated full support of the state government to the beleaguered family members of the farmers. He said appointment letters had already been given to the kin of 152 deceased farmers. — TNS
