Central University of Punjab is nodal university for CU-Common Entrance Test

Like the previous years, the online registration process to apply for admission in different Integrated/Under-Graduate (UI) and Post Graduate (PG) Programmes of the 12 Central Universities of India for the academic year 2021-22 begins through Central Universities - Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2021. 

The process for online registrations and submission of the Application Form that commenced on 16th August 2021 will continue till 1st September 2021. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been assigned the task of conducting the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2021 for admissions to the UI and PG programmes of 12 participating Central Universities (CUs) in Computer-based Test (CBT) Mode. 

The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) is the Nodal University of CU-CET 2021. 

CU-CET 2021 will provide a single-window opportunity to students of India to seek admissions in UG & PG Programmes of 12 participating Central Universities such as (1) Assam University; (2) Central University of Andhra Pradesh; (3) Central University of Gujarat; (4) Central University of Haryana; (5) Central University of Jammu; (6) Central University of Jharkhand; (7) Central University of Karnataka; (8) Central University of Kerala; (9) Central University of Punjab; (10) Central University of Rajasthan; (11) Central University of South Bihar; and (12) Central University of Tamil Nadu. 

The admissions process for Ph.D. Programmes will be announced by each university separately. 

The two Central Universities namely the Central University of Kashmir and the Central University of Orissa, which were earlier a part of CUCET-2020, are not a part of CU-CET 2021 this year and are inviting applications for admissions at their level.

Candidates can register for CU-CET 2021 and check important information related to Exam Dates, duration and pattern of Examination by visiting https://cucet.nta.nic.in 

Before applying for CU-CET 2021, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria required by a particular participating University for the desired Programme. 

The details of Programmes, Eligibility Criteria, Programme Structure etc. are available on the respective website of participating Universities. 

The result of CU-CET 2021 will be declared by NTA. After the result declaration, the respective CUs will declare the counselling/ admission schedule and merit list based on the weightage on the CU-CET 2021 score and the other criteria of the respective CU. The information related to Admit Card Download, Exam Schedule, Result Date and other details will be uploaded soon by NTA on the Official Website of CU-CET 2021 i.e. https://cucet.nta.nic.in
