BSF seizes 10 kg heroin

Ferozepur, November 30

BSF personnel today seized 10 packets of heroin, weighing 10 kg, near the Kasso ke border outpost along the Pakistan border in this sector. The estimated cost of the consignment is Rs 50 crore in the international market.

As per information, the personnel belonging to 116 Battalion seized the consignment from the fields situated across the fencing during a search operation early today.

On November 15, the BSF had recovered 7.412 kg heroin near the Pachharian border outpost. — OC
