Chandigarh, November 30

The BJP today questioned the silence of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Navjot Sidhu over the incident of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in Pakistan.

Condemning the incident at Gurdwara Shri Guru Harkrishen Sahib in Kot Meer Badan Khan Bajarani village of Kashmore district, Sindh, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh asked Pakistan to take stringent action against the culprits.

He wondered why Sidhu had been quiet on such issues though he kept showering praise on his ‘friend’ and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. “What kind of friendship is this if Sidhu cannot protect the interests of Sikhs in Pakistan?” said Chugh. — TNS
