Bathinda arhtiya robbed of Rs9L

Two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons today attacked an arhtiya and robbed him of Rs 9 lakh at Goniana Mandi.

Victim Sanjeev Kumar told the police that he was opening his shop around 6.45 am when two unidentified persons attacked him. They threw chilli powder into his eyes and decamped with his bag containing Rs 9 lakh.

Nehianwala police station SHO Buta Singh said, “The accused would be arrested soon.” — TNS
