ASI 'kills' wife in Patiala, shoots self

Patiala, June 26

An Assistant Sub-Inspector allegedly shot his wife this afternoon. Later, the ASI, identified as Davinder Kumar, allegedly turned the gun on himself.

The police officer was rushed to Government Rajindra Hospital where doctors referred him to the PGIMER, Chandigarh, in critical condition. It has been learnt the ASI was deployed at Kali Mata Mandir and had a heated argument with his wife before he allegedly shot her.
