Muktsar, February 24

Three days after the wife of a PSPCL contractor from Faridkot, who allegedly shot his two children before killing himself and injuring her on February 6, named Gidderbaha MLA Amrinder Singh Raja Warring as one of the main culprits in the suicide case, a large number of SAD activists today took out a protest march in Gidderbaha town.

They demanded the arrest of Warring, his brother-in-law Dumpy Vinayak and burnt their effigies. Two weeks ago, Faridkot City police had booked Dumpy. However, no arrest has been made till date. SAD’s Gidderbaha constituency in-charge Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon said, “The police should register a case against Warring on the statement of the deceased’s wife. — TNS
