4 Bathinda Central jail inmates hurt in clash

Bathinda, July 14

Four jail inmates were reportedly injured in a clash at the Bathinda Central Jail today. They were taken to the Civil Hospital. The injured have been identified as Manoj Kimar of Mirza Dayalpura village, Amanpreet Singh of Hoshairpur, Sukhpreet Singh of Ludhiana and Harkamal Singh of Bathinda.

The police have launched a probe. Cantt Police Station SHO Narinder Singh said whether inmates were injured in a clash or they had hurt themselves on their own would be ascertained. — TNS
