33-yr-old man going to participate in farmers’ protest dies in accident near Rajpura

This is the sixth casualty in the ongoing farmers’ protest

A 33-year-old man, who was going to participate in the ongoing farmers’ protest at Shambhu border, died in an accident on Saturday.

According to officials, the deceased identified as Gurjant Singh died in the accident that took place near Rajpura’s Padao village in Patiala.

This is the sixth casualty in the ongoing farmers’ protest.

On Thursday, Darshan Singh, 62, a resident of Amargarh village in Bathinda district, died of a heart attack at Khanauri barrier.

Earlier on Wednesday, Shubhkaran Singh died of an injury while protesting at Khanauri border, prompting farm leaders to suspend talks with the Centre.
