Chandigarh, January 4

The Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) will distribute one lakh pamphlets, carrying slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ferozepur.

Members of the union said they would protest the alleged inability of the government to register murder case against Ajay Mishra Teni and others involved in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. “We also demand enactment of law on guaranteed purchase of all crops on MSP. We also want quick withdrawal of criminal cases slapped on farmers and others at Delhi, Chandigarh and other states,” it said. — TNS
