Actor-director-writer Nav Bajwa has come up with full-fledged comedy and family entertainer, Kitty Party, which he promises to be a laugh riot. Nav says, “When I went to get dates from all the cast members of the movie, I knew it would be a tough job to convince them to give a month’s time for the shoot. This story is all character-based and I have explored each character to its best. Which is why, I promised everyone that they will not be idle even for a single day in that month. Every person was equally involved in the movie.”

Nav, who has already visualised the sequel of Kitty Party, admits that it’s all in his mind. He explains, “As a director, I would definitely like to see my producer earn profits from this movie and there are various other factors that involves in planning a sequel.”

Bollywood actress Kainaat Arora along with Upasana Singh, Neelu Kohli, Manni Boparai, Anita Devgan, Satwant Kaur are leading the story and are backed by Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jaswnder Bhalla, Harby Sangha and Surinder Bath.

Gurpreet Ghuggi adds, “For me, concluding with a family entertainer like Kitty Party will be the best thing to do. I am happy that writers and directors are coming up with new subjects that give equal opportunities to women entertainers of the industry.”

His agenda for 2020 is to work in a web series. He adds, “I only hope that I start this trend.” For Punjabi cinema and its level of comedy, he says, “I am proud that Pollywood does not use vulgar content to make people laugh. This trend of Pollywood must be appreciated.” Happy that every Friday sees a Punjabi movie release, Ghuggi says, “This year there was a balance for all kinds of movies— be it regional, national or international. And about our Punjabi audience, they can even watch two Punjabi movies a week.”
