  • Was acting and singing your passion since childhood?

Yes, I have always been passionate about acting and singing. This is something that gives me immense satisfaction. Acting makes my heart and soul fill with happiness.

  • Acting, singing and theatre — which one is close to your heart?

Acting and singing are both close to my heart. Theatre has its own charm.

  • Do you think that entertainment business will bounce back?

Yes, of course, I always think positive. We can see the industry is already recovering. Many shows and movies are ready with their schedules.

  • What did you learn from the lockdown?

Money is not everything. Family and friends are most important. I have learnt that life is more important than anything else. Health is wealth. We need God’s blessings to survive because when everything in medical science is done, even doctors count on Gods!

  • Do you think OTT is the future?

Yes, OTT platform has opened many doors for talented individuals and gives more freedom to filmmakers.

  • Which is your favourite web series as of now?

Mirzapur Season 2.

Absolutely nothing matches the hospitality of Punjabis.

  • One place you like to visit in Punjab when you arrive in India?

Amritsar.

  • What are your favourite Punjabi dishes?

Sarson da saag and mithi roti.

  • Which Punjabi film is close to your heart and why?

Aardas and Carry on Jatta are my favourites because they have good scripts.

Apna Punjab by Gurdas Maan and Mere Desh Hove Punjab by Kulwinder Billa.

  • Any prominent place you would recommend to your friends in Punjab?

Golden Temple at Amritsar.

  • How are you keeping yourself fit these days?

I play football, squash and regularly go to the gym.

  • How are you staying in touch with your fans?

Social media nowadays has tremendous reach.

  • Is there any international project you are doing?

Yes, I am working on an Indo-German movie.

  • Your upcoming films and songs?

My two movies are lined-up for release and four Punjabi songs are all set to release soon.
