Rain mars cricket match

A match between Heavenz’-11, Patiala, and Fatehgarh Sahib of the First Late HR Saggi Memorial Hot Weather Cricket Tournament ended in a draw due to rain.

The Fatehgarh Sahib team won the toss and decided to field first. The match was, however, affected by the rain on both days and was shortened to only 80 overs per day.

Heavenz’-11 scored 250 runs at the loss of six wickets. Vaibhav Saini (80 runs), Sambhav Puri (65 runs) and Pukhraj Mann (46 runs) were the main scorers.

Fatehgarh Sahib were all out at 237 runs in which Inder scored 72 runs and Yadwinder Singh 43 runs. Sharandeep Singh of Heavenz’-11 took seven wickets for 61 runs. The match ended in a draw after the first innings due to the rain. Heaven’z-11 got three points and Fatehgarh Sahib one point.
