Patriotic fervour marks 75 yrs of Independence celebrations

Government Kirti College, Nial-Patran, today celebrated “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” with patriotic fervour. The event marked 75 years of Indian Independence.

The chief guest on the occasion, Shutrana MLA Kulwant Singh, promised active support for uplift of the college.

Various cultural activities were organised by the students and the alumni association with the help of the North Zone Cultural Centre (Patiala). College Principal Prof Amarjit Singh encouraged students to take part in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

NCC cadets and NSS volunteers of the college will distribute National Flag in different villages and the city from August 10 to August 15.
