Man held with weapons in Patiala

The police have arrested Harpreet Singh, a resident of Moti Mohalla, Patiala, with two pistols, a country-made revolver and bullets. Patiala SSP Mandeep Singh Sidhu said the cyber cell was keeping an eye on the suspect, who was posting pictures with weapons and exchanging threatening texts with another gang member Harwinder Singh. A case under Sections 307, 341, 323, 506, 148 and 149 of the IPC has been registered against the suspect. Sidhu said four of his aides would be arrested soon. — TNS
