2 jail inmates booked for possessing mobile phones

Patiala, January 23

The Central Jail authorities have recovered two mobile phones from inmates in two separate incidents, here in Patiala. The jail authorities said mobile phones along with SIM cards and data cables were seized during a routine checking. The accused have been identified as Prince Garg of Panchkula and Mehboob Khan of Mohali. A case against under Section 51-A of the Prisons Act has been registered. — TNS
