Trump to visit India on Feb 24, 25

New Delhi, February 11

US President Donald Trump will make his maiden visit to India on February 24-25, the Ministry of External Affairs announced here today.

Accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, he will attend official engagements in New Delhi and Ahmedabad and interact with a wide cross-section of Indian society.

“The visit will provide an opportunity to review progress in bilateral ties,” noted an MEA statement. “The trip will further strengthen the US-India strategic partnership and highlight the strong bonds between the American and Indian people,” said the White House in a statement. — TNS
