New Delhi, December 16

As a large number of posts remain vacant in tribunals, the Supreme Court on Thursday asked high courts to entertain pleas filed before the Debts Recovery Tribunal (DRT) and the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT) to provide relief to the affected litigants.

“To resolve the problem for the time being, we request the HCs to entertain the applications which they have to file before DRT, DRAT under Article 226,” a Bench headed by CJI NV Ramana said. — TNS
