New Delhi, May 24

The Delhi Police are probing if one of the three vehicles, impounded from Chhatrasal Stadium following the brawl involving Olympian Sushil Kumar that left a wrestler dead, is linked to the Neeraj Bawania gang.

A source said the police had impounded three vehicles, including a Mahindra Scorpio and a Honda City, on May 4. The source said the police were investigating if Sushil had any links with members of the Bawania gang. The police are gathering the details of Scorpio.

The wrestler was arrested on Sunday morning along with his aide Ajay Kumar, after being on the run for over 18 days in several states following the death of 23-year-old wrestler Sagar Dhankar of injuries sustained in the brawl. IANS
