Even though she is not an elected member of any legislature at present, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee has been chosen leader of yet another group of elected members of a legislative body.

While Banerjee was earlier elected leader of the ruling TMC in the West Bengal Assembly and CM, she has been also chosen chairperson of the TMC parliamentary party consisting of members of the party in both Houses. — TNS
