PM Modi lauds Haryana's Nuh for institutional delivery system

Chandigarh: PM Narendra Modi has praised Nuh district of Mewat region in Haryana for raising the bar in terms of institutional delivery.

The PM said through continuous efforts of the Haryana Government, the rate of institutional deliveries in Nuh had increased to 92.2 per cent from 50.61 per cent in 2018 when it was included in the list of ‘aspirational districts’. “It’s a matter of pride for the Haryana Government as well as the district administration,” he said.

Earlier too, the PM had exhorted states to follow the welfare policies and programmes initiated by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. —
