Fortis renamed as Parkway

New Delhi, August 14

Fortis Healthcare today said its board has given an in-principle nod to change the name of the company and its subsidiaries to ‘Parkway’ in relation to the hospital business, to disassociate itself from the erstwhile promoters.

‘Parkway’ is an internationally acclaimed brand in the field of healthcare, belonging to the IHH Group, the ultimate parent of Northern TK Venture Pte Ltd, which has 31 per cent shareholding. Singh brothers — Shivinder and Malvinder — were the promoters of Fortis Healthcare. — PTI
