Elite athletes set to resume training at NIS-Patiala

Patiala, May 22

After a gap of two months, elite Indian athletes, including those who have qualified for the Olympics, will soon start training at the National Institute of Sports (NIS) here.

According to the NIS management, “all precautions” are being put in place to keep the athletes secure from the risk of the coronavirus infection. The Sports Authority of India yesterday issued the standard operating procedures (SOP) to resume training.
