CBI grills Manipur ex-CM in ‘embezzlement’ case

The CBI has questioned Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Manipur O Ibobi Singh in connection with the alleged misappropriation of Rs 332-crore development funds, officials said.

New Delhi: The CBI has questioned Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Manipur O Ibobi Singh in connection with the alleged misappropriation of Rs 332-crore development funds, officials said. The CBI has summoned retired IAS officer O Nabakishore Singh, also a former chairman of Manipur Development Society, for questioning. TNS
