New Delhi, January 5

The Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association (SCAORA) on Wednesday sought suspension of the limitation period to file cases under all general and special laws in view of the sudden surge in Covid-19 cases across India.

In its plea, the SCAORA urged the Supreme Court to restore its March 23, 2020, and April 27, 2021, orders putting in abeyance statutory limitation periods.
