AAP on Friday flayed the Haryana government for its alleged use of force in various parts of the state to stop the farmers' "march to Delhi" agitation.

"Chief Minister ML Khattar has converted entire Haryana into a war zone," AAP Rajya Sabha MP and in-charge of Haryana Sushil Gupta said.

Police had used water cannons against farmers.

"Roads have been dug to halt their movement and treated as if they were terrorists.

"AAP government in Delhi has declined permission of Delhi Police to allow stadiums to detain the agitating farmers," Gupta said, adding that farmers provide food security to the country.

He said the farmers' have a democratic right to put forth their grievances. It was improper on the part of the Haryana government to stop them from their democratic means to protest.

He further said, that the three farm laws passed by Parliament were unjust and AAP was opposed to them.

The laws were passed in Parliament undemocratically, and now undemocratic means were being used to quell farmers' agitation.
