Webinar on martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur

Ludhiana, July 18

A webinar was organised at Malwa Central College of Education for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, today. The theme of the webinar was ‘Hind Di Chadar Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’. The resource person of the first session was Dr Sarabjinder Singh, Head, Department Shri Guru Granth Sahib Studies, and chairperson, Bhai Gurudas Chair, from Punjabi University, Patiala.

The resource person of the second session was Dr Manvinder Singh, assistant professor, Department of Guru Nanak Dev Studies, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

Stage of the webinar was conducted by Dr Rekha. Dr Nerotma Sharma, introduced the resource persons to the participants. In the first session, the resource person expressed their views about the martyrdom of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur and concept of martyrdom in Sikhism. In the second technical session, they expressed their views about life, writings and contributions of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur.

A total of 215 participants attended the webinar. Principal Naginder Kaur praised the efforts of the NSS unit and all faculty members for successfully conducting the webinar.
