Three test +ve in Ludhiana

Three fresh cases of Covid-19 were reported in the district on Tuesday. Of them, two patients with influenza-like illness visited Flu Corner and one visited OPD. Meanwhile, one patient from the outside the district also tested positive for the virus.

There are 30 active cases in the district at present. The Health Department has confirmed 87,491 positive cases from Ludhiana and 11,663 cases from other districts or states till date. Besides, a total of 2,098 patients from Ludhiana and 1,049 from other districts or states have died of the virus, Civil Surgeon Dr Kiran Gill said.

According to the Health Department, 85,363 patients have recovered from the disease.

Samples of 7,801 suspected patients were sent for testing today and their results are expected shortly.
