Thief’s arrest: Head Constable tests negative

The report of Jaswinder Singh, Head Constable of Machiwara, who was deployed at Focal Point, Ludhiana, tested negative. Jaswinder was part of a team of the Ludhiana police, which arrested a thief, who had later tested positive. It is worthy to mention that all team members of arrested party were tested for Covid-19.

Although the report of Jaswinder came negative yet the Health Department had asked him and his family to remain in quarantine for 14 days, said SHO Machiwara Sukhvir Singh.

The SHO confirmed that the report of Jaswinder was negative and he was in isolation in Ludhiana, while his family was in quarantine in their home at Machiwara. — OC
