Thief strikes at garment shop
Ludhiana, June 13
A woman broke into a garment shop near Regal Blue Hotel on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh road at night and took away Rs 17,000 from a drawer and garments worth Rs 1 lakh.
In a report lodged by the shop owner, Viren Sood, a resident of Bhatia Colony, Rajguru Nagar Extension, he stated that the CCTV footage showed a woman entering the shop and committing the theft. The police have registered a case under Sections 457 and 380 of the IPC against the woman.
