Tenant hangs self from fan in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, July 11

A 26-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence in Dugri, Phase I, here. The deceased has been identified as Chotu. He had separated from his wife.

According to the Dugri police, on Friday night, local residents saw Chotu entering the house around 8.30 pm. When he didn’t come outside in the morning, the landlord grew suspicious and went to his room. He was shocked to see the Chotu’s body hanging from the ceiling fan.

No suicide note was recovered from the spot.
