Symposium on Covid held

Ludhiana, June 14

The Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT), Ghumar Mandi, organised a two-day online international symposium “Covid-19: Social Perspective” on June 11, 12. About 2,500 persons, including teachers, doctors, economists, businessmen and eminent people from the world of education from all across the country and abroad, participated in this conference.

Noted economist Dr Sucha Singh Gill, CRRID, Chandigarh (Labour and Unemployment), inaugurated the symposium.

Dr Dilshad Dhaliwal, Fellow Tata Research Institute, Toronto, was the expert for the day. While deliberating on health and hygiene, she gave detailed information about Covid-19 and its associated superstition and facts. Prof Jaswinder Singh Brar discussed socio-economic impact of Covid-19. — TNS
