Suvidha centre inaugurated

Ludhiana, July 3

Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu inaugurated a suvidha centre at Balloke village in Gill Assembly Constituency, here today. The centre would provide benefits of all state government welfare schemes to the residents of the Gill constituency.

Ashu said dedicated staff had been deputed at the centre to guide residents and ensure that their documents and files were complete.

Gill MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid said people would be able to avail benefits of 62 services free of cost, for which they had to visit government offices earlier. Three more such centres would be started soon, he added.
