Students celebrate Lohri at Nankana Sahib Public School, Ludhiana

Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Road, celebrated Lohri here today. Inderpal Singh, director, Nankana Sahib Education Trust, Dr Sehajpal Singh, Principal, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Arvind Dhingra, Principal, STEP, were guests of the day.

Addressing the gathering, school Principal Harmeet Kaur Waraich said, “I wish all troubles of the world get over with this bonfire.”

Inderpal Singh shared his views about the historic importance of the Lohri festival. He wished everyone present on the occasion Happy Lohri, peace and prosperity. Lohri special eatables were distributed among all. —
