Ludhiana, April 12

District Bharatiya Janata Party’s local body cell president and former councillor Inder Aggarwal gave a memorandum to Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu on Tuesday, requesting him to get fogging started for controlling mosquitoes in the city.

Aggarwal said there were a large number of mosquitoes due to which chances of spread of the vector-borne diseases remained high these days in the industrial town.

He demanded from the Mayor to order the employees of the department concerned to start fogging and spraying insecticide to control mosquitoes in the city so that the spread of the vector-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria could be prevented on time.
