Special school students celebrate annual day

Ludhiana, April 16

The annual day celebrations of the Nirdosh School for Special Children were held with zeal on the premises of Rotary Club, Ludhiana, on Saturday. The function was held on the theme of ‘Time... journey of life’.

Almost all 48 students participated in the celebrations, depicting different emotions. The chief guest was Gopi Kothari, an industrialist. Nirdosh School chairperson Alka Chhabra gave the welcome address, highlighting achievements and activities of the school.

The annual report of the school was read by principal Surat Singh. Former students of the school, who got placed at various factories and shops and were living a dignified life, were acknowledged on the occasion.

Staff, helpers and auto-rickshaw operators of the school were presented with token gifts to acknowledge the hard work put by them throughout the year.

The function was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by co-chairperson Harkirat Kaur.
