Six new patients of black fungus

Ludhiana, May 24

Six new patients of mucormycosis (black fungus) have been reported in the Ludhiana district and one patient was referred to Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, from Civil Hospital.

According to the data shared by the Health Department, two patients have been cured of black fungus till date and five have lost their life so far in the district.

At present total 40 patients suffering from black fungus are admitted to various city hospitals.
