Sikh Sadbhawna Dal senior general secretary Iqbal Singh Manawa said activists of the outfit will organise its ‘Insaf March’ from Kaunke village to Gurdwara Mehdiana on Tuesday to demand justice for the family of former Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Gurdev Singh Kaunke who, the outfit said, was killed in a fake encounter 31 years ago.

Manawa said the chief of the outfit, Baldev Singh Wadala, will lead the activists at the march and participants would recite gurbani during their 15-km march.

They had announced to launch an organised struggle to demand action against the police personnel responsible for allegedly torturing Kaunke and killing him in custody after he was picked up from his home on December 25, 1992.
