Shivling found ‘damaged’

Mandi Ahmedgarh, July 10

Some unknown miscreants allegedly damaged the ‘Shivling’ and ‘Nandi’, (bull) representing Shiva, installed at a temple on Saraud Mandiala Road on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.

Duty Magistrate Badal Din said the police had initiated a probe into the incident.

Investigations revealed that no CCTV camera was installed at the temple or roads leading to it. — OC
