Ludhiana, April 3
A team of the Health Department was on its toes today locating the contacts of 69-year-old Shimlapuri-based woman who tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
The woman had gone to Mohali to meet her niece and had stayed with them since March 17. She had travelled to Mohali by a Volvo bus. Her niece and grandson also have the same symptoms of flu.
Dr Gurdarshan Singh Mangat, Unit Head, Fortis, Ludhiana, said the patient’s condition was now stable and she was off ventilation.
The Civil Surgeon, Dr Rajesh Bagga, said all the possible contacts of the Covid-positive woman were being traced they were being asked to get themselves quarantined.
