Ludhiana, June 27

The Punjab School Education Board has postponed the announcement of the PSEB Class XII result, which was scheduled to be declared today. The declaration was postponed due to some technical glitches. However, the delay has aggravated the anxiety of students as no fresh date has been announced by the board.

An official from the board said the result has been postponed and now the fresh date will be declared in coming days. The announcement of the same will be made either through press note or on the official website or social media.

“I was continuously monitoring social media and websites as the result was expected to be announced today. Around 3 pm there was lot of confusion as some websites updated that result was declared, others said it was postponed. It was only after an hour that we came to know that result has been postponed,” said Dalbir Singh, a student of Class XII.

Another student said earlier the result was expected on June 24 and then today. “The delay is causing anxiety and the board should at least announce the date,” said Kirat, another student.

Not only students but even the parents were having sleepless nights. “The future admission of my daughter depends on class XII result. No date has been announced by the board and it is giving my anxiety,” said mother of a class XII student. Earlier the result was expected to be announced to June 24 and then it was announced to declare the result today at 3 pm via press conference but was postponed due to technical issues.
