Police register 11 FIRs in a day

Despite the police increasing patrolling and nakas, curfew violations continued in the city. As many as 11 FIRs were registered by the police till yesterday night. The Daresi police booked three vendors, who were selling vegetables without wearing safety masks and gloves. The suspects were identified as Udesh Kumar, Pawan Kumar and Deepak Sharma. They were caught near Jalandhar bypass. The suspects had allowed over four dozens persons around their vehicles, who had come to buy vegetables.

The Dehlon police booked Manpreet and Gagandeep of Ishar Nagar, who were caught roaming in the curfew. The police station No. 6 booked Happy Kumar of Kuldeep Nagar, Jai Parkash of Gaispura, Rakesh Kumar of Giaspura, Mohan Lal and Mithu of Millarganj for roaming on roads during curfew in the city.

The Daba police booked Dinesh Kumar and Mukesh Garg for doing construction work. The Model Town police booked Tajinder Singh and Pahuldeep on the charge of roaming on roads in curfew.

The police division No. 7 booked Ranjit Singh while the Focal Point police booked Mohd Sadaam and Nikhil Joshi for curfew violations. The Jamalpur police booked Karan Budhi for stocking fast food outside his shop at Jamalpur Chowk without any curfew permission.
