PAU employees back farmers’ stir

Ludhiana, December 8

A large number of employees, including teaching and non-teaching staff members have come in support of Bandh bandh called by farmer organisations against farm laws.

A massive rally was organised in front of the Thapar Hall in which representatives of different unions also participated.

Dr Kirpal Singh Aulakh, former vice-chancellor of PAU, Dr NS Malhi, Dr SS Gill, Dr JS Kular all former Directors of Extension Education, Dr Ramesh Kumar, former Head of the Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, Naresh Gaur, general secretary, State Bank of India, addressed the rally. — TNS
