Panjab University examination results

Ludhiana: Students of Postgraduate Department Of Commerce of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, excelled in MCom Semester-I examinations, results of which were declared by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Shreya Gupta stood first in the district and second in the university with 87 per cent. Sonali and Sunakshi bagged second and third position in the college with 81.14 per cent and 79.42 per cent, respectively. In MSc (IT) Semester-I examinations, Meenakshi Goyal of stood first in the college and sixth in the university with 85.67 per cent, followed by Parteet Asija, who stood second in the college and ninth in the university with 84.83 per cent. In the MA (History) Semester-III examinations, Ramandeep Kaur stood third in the university with 309/400 marks, followed by Sumandeep and Sonia Devi who stood sixth and seventh in the university with 304 and 303 marks, respectively. Principal Mukti Gill congratulated the position holders and wished them luck for future endeavours.

Students of Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women brought laurels to the college by bagging university positions in MCom Semester-I examinations. Gursimran Kaur bagged first position in the college and sixth in the university by securing 85 per cent. Inderpreet Kaur stood second in the college with 82.14 per cent, followed by Rajinder Kaur with 80 per cent. Principal Kirandeep Kaur, college president Swaran Singh and other members of the managing committee congratulated the students.


Arya College

Students of Postgraduate Department of Commerce and Business Management of Arya College brought laurels to the institute by performing excellently in MCom Semester-I examinations. Ritanshu bagged stood first position in the college and eighth in the university by securing 84.6 per cent. Saira secured second position in the college with 81.45 per cent and Preetika Sharma stood third with 81.14 per cent. As many as 15 students earned distinction by scoring more than 75 per cent. Principal Savita Uppal congratulated position holders.


Guru Nanak Girls College

Students of Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, have clinched university positions in MSc (Physics) Semester-III examinations. Tamana stood first in the college and seventh in the university by securing 78.7 per cent, followed by Deepika Rani who clinched second position in the college and eighth in the university with 78.6 per cent while Mansi Verma bagged third position in the college with 76 per cent. College director Charanjit Mahal congratulated the position holders and the faculty members.


Guru Nanak National College, Doraha

The results of MA (Political Science) Semester-I examinations were declared recently by Panjab University. Jaspreet Kaur of Guru Nanak National College, Doraha, stood first in the college and second in the university with 81.25 percent while Inderjit Kaur stood second in the college and eighth in the university with 78.5 per cent. Kamalpreet Kaur secured third position in the college with 76.75 per cent. Principal Narinder Singh Sidhu congratulated the students for their success.


Devki Devi Jain Memorial College

Students of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women brought laurels to the college by bagging university positins in MSc (IT) Semester-I, MCom Semester-I and MA (History) Semester-III examinations. In MSc (IT), Babita bagged fourth position in the district and 10th in the university by securing 84.3 per cent. Pooja clinched second position in the college with 83.66 per cent, followed by Soni 82.33 per cent. In MCom, Sneha and Priya Arora shared first position in the college by securing 77.71 per cent while Sarita Kumari stood second and Shivani Vatta secured third position in the college with 77.57 per cent and 77.28 per cent, respectively. In MA (History), Dimple Nirban bagged first position, Simranjeet stood second and Khushboo secured third position in the college with 73.75 per cent, 71.75 per cent and 70.25 per cent, respectively.
