Man arrested for tossing turban of 86-year-old

A man has been arrested for allegedly pushing his 86-year-old neighbour and tossing his turban in Model Town Extension, Ludhiana. The suspect has been identified as Kulbir Singh (61) and booked for allegedly hurting the complainant’s religious sentiments.

The complainant, Joginder Singh of Model Town Extension, alleged that he had asked his neighbour, Kulbir Singh, to stop throwing waste in front of his house on the evening of January 25. He alleged that the suspect forcefully pushed him from the rear as he was returning home, causing his turban to be tossed. The incident has been recorded on CCTV.

Investigating Officer Balwinder Singh stated that suspect Kulbir Singh pushed Joginder Singh. He mentioned that the suspect then kicked the turban. Following the investigation, Kulbir Singh has been arrested. A case under Sections 295-A, 323, and 506 of the IPC has been registered against the suspect at Model Town Police Station.
