Ludhiana sees 1 death, 24 new Covid cases

Ludhiana, June 28

One more person lost his life to Covid in the district today, taking the toll to 2,291. Meanwhile, 24 more persons tested positive for the virus today, taking the tally to 1,10,357.

The number of active cases rose to 187. While 180 patients are in home isolation, seven are admitted to hospitals.

A total of 2,291 persons have lost their life to the virus since March 30, 2020, when first fatality was reported from the district.

Samples of 4199 suspected patients were sent for testing today, the results of which are expected shortly.
