Ludhiana players bag six medals in TT meet

Ludhiana, December 28

Players from the city made their presence felt by clinching six medals in the Open Punjab Table Tennis Tournament held from December 24 to 27 in Jalandhar.

Punjab second seeded Naman Mehra finished as runner-up while Sehajpreet Kaur bagged three medals. She emerged champion in the sub-junior section, besides securing the third position in the junior category and youth group as well.

Another girl from Ludhiana, Hargun Kaur won the second position in the junior section and in the junior boys’ category, Gautam finished at the second spot. — OC
