Ludhiana MC razes illegal structure of wine shop

Ludhiana, July 22

The Municipal Corporation has demolished an under-construction illegal structure of a wine shop on Dugri Road here.

ATP Mohan Singh said its construction was going on in the parking area in front of the wine shop. Besides, an unauthorised factory was also sealed in Kartar Nagar.

The MC Commissioner has issued a public notice regarding unsafe buildings. He said the owners of unsafe buildings had been issued notices to vacate the buildings and get them demolished on their own. If any such building collapses, the owner would be held responsible, as per the MC notice. — TNS
